Grenache, from Mirus Vineyards, was destemmed (60%) and 40% retained as whole bunches, then fermented in a small open-top vessel. Following pressing, the wine was matured in Stainless Steel prior to bottling.

Bright crimson–magenta in colour, showing aromas of wild strawberries and cherries layered with exotic spice and citrus blossom. The palate has brambley berry fruits and fresh cherries with lifted spice and a bright, mineral finish.

‘The 2024 Wonderground Grenache is floral, bloody, fresh and earthy, with an abundance of cherry, redcurrant, red earth and tapenade. The middle palate and finish are where this wine really starts to show its mettle. This is balanced, lacy and detailed and offers grunt and substance, but that makes it pretty. It has light and shade, attractive rocky minerals and fetching floral top notes. 14.6% alcohol, sealed under screw cap.’ Erin Larkin, The Wine Advocate - 94 POINTS

‘Another snappy, ginger-spiced grenache from the impressive '24 vintage that puts a smile on my face. Perfumed and dotted with citrus blossom high tones. The underlying fruit profile is all red plum, raspberry and cranberry with hints of exotic spice, gingerbread, cola and earth.
