Winemaker’s NotesWine Writer’s Notes Grenache, from Mirus Vineyards, was destemmed (60%) and 40% retained as whole bunches, then fermented in a small open-top vessel. Following pressing, the wine was matured in Stainless Steel prior to bottling.
Bright crimson–magenta in colour, showing aromas of wild strawberries and cherries layered with exotic spice and citrus blossom. The palate has brambley berry fruits and fresh cherries with lifted spice and a bright, mineral finish.
