From Talc Hill Vineyard in Gumeracha, 470m above sea level. Following a gentle whole bunch pressing the juice underwent a long cool fermentation in seasoned French oak barrels using indigenous yeast. The wine was matured for 8 months in the same barrels before bottling. Fine, fresh and textural with plenty of personality, we're smitten.

Winemaker’s Notes

From Talc Hill Vineyard, in Gumeracha, 470m above sea level. Following a gentle whole bunch pressing the juice underwent a long cool fermentation in seasoned French oak barrels using indigenous yeast. The wine was then matured for 10 months in the same barrels before bottling. 
Fine, fresh and textural, minimal intervention winemaking allows this outstanding vineyard to express itself.
The 2024 Chardonnay is pale straw in colour with citrus, white peach and nectarine fruit along with hints of soft spice, nougat, crushed stone, clotted cream and white flowers. 
The textural, savoury palate is fresh and dry, bright acid and notes of citrus, blossom, stone and oatmeal on the stony, focused finish.
